Aishwarya Ramakrishnan Iyer

Dr. Iyer completed doctoral research at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in Bangalore, India, under the supervision of Dr. Sheeba Vasu. She joined our lab in December 2021. In the Summer of 2023 she attended the CSHL Neurobiology of Drosophila course.

Her research interests are neural circuits regulating circadian rhythms in Drosophila, sex differences in the brain and behavior, and mechanisms of neuronal connectivity.
